Sahul is a free, non-commercial community project run by John Cook in Australia. Using it means accepting what is below. It is short on purpose.

What this is

A catalogue, collection tracker, force builder and knowledge base for tabletop miniatures games. It costs nothing, there is no paid tier, and there is no advertising. It is built and maintained by one person in their own time.

Infinity, the Infinity logo, and all associated imagery, names and trademarks are the property ofCorvus Belli S.L. Sahul is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, operated by, endorsed by, or sponsored by Corvus Belli. The same applies to every other publisher whose games appear here. Nothing on this site is an official source, and where the rules matter, the publisher's own materials are what count.

Your account

• You are responsible for the sign-in methods on your account, and for keeping access to at least one of them. Sahul will refuse to remove your last way back in, but it cannot stop you losing access to an email account or a device.
• One account per person. Do not create accounts for other people or pretend to be someone else.
• You can delete your account at any time. Ask at privacy@sahul.net until the button exists.

Your data can be lost, and you should assume it will be

This is the clause that matters most, so it is not buried. Your collection, army lists, logged games and photos are currently stored in your own browser. Clearing your browser data deletes them and there is no copy on our side to restore. Even once syncing exists, this is a free project run by one person on a hobbyist budget: keep your own record of anything you would be upset to lose.

Sahul is not a photo archive. Photos are resized for the web when you add them and the original is not kept — so what you can download later is a web-sized copy, not the file that came off your camera. Do not delete your originals. We say this again at the moment you upload, because it is the sort of thing people find out too late.

What you upload stays yours

Photographs of your models remain your property. We will never sell them, license them to anyone, put them in advertising, or use them to train machine-learning models.

Photos on your own profile stay entirely yours — remove one at any time, and deleting your account removes them.

Posting a photo to an event or a community is different, and it is worth understanding before you do it. That photo becomes part of that event's or community's record and stays there. It is how a tournament's gallery survives people moving on, and it is the thing you are agreeing to when you post there — we say so at the moment you post, not only here. If you would rather share photos and keep control of them, put them in a gallery on your profile and share that instead.

Moderating a gallery removes a tag, never the photograph. Someone tidying a club gallery cannot destroy your own record of your models.

What not to do

• Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, or harassing, or anything you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, or work around the limits of the site, or access accounts that are not yours.
• Do not scrape the catalogue wholesale. Much of the underlying data belongs to publishers and to community projects who gave permission for this use, not for redistribution. Ask instead — the answer is often yes.
• Do not use Sahul to sell things, advertise, or recruit.

Accounts that do these things can be suspended or removed. Where a judgement call is involved, you will be told what happened and why.

Other people's work

Sahul stands on years of unpaid community effort. Contributors are credited only where they have specifically agreed to it — see credits. If you maintain something used here and you are not listed, we have not asked you yet, or are waiting to hear back. Get in touch and we will credit you exactly how you want, or stop using your work, whichever you prefer.

No warranty

Sahul is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it works, stays available, or is accurate. Catalogue and rules data is assembled from public and community sources and will contain errors. Do not rely on it for anything that matters — for tournament legality, check the publisher's own materials.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using Sahul, including lost data. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be contracted out of.

Changes and endings

These terms may change; the date at the top moves when they do, and a change that affects your rights will be announced in the changelog rather than applied quietly. If Sahul ever shuts down, reasonable notice and a way to export your data will be given first.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Before anything formal, write to privacy@sahul.net — for a free community project, a conversation solves almost everything.
